The goal of the Indigenous Business Connector Program is to identify Indigenous Businesses and Entrepreneurs and help them to overcome the barriers to establishing or growing their business.
The program is designed to:
• Facilitate and mediate connections between Indigenous businesses and non-Indigenous markets, supply chains and growth opportunities by supporting existing networks and creating new
networks.
• Establish collaborative relationships between Indigenous businesses and agencies and bodies that provide or manage funding, programs, resources, and pathways for Indigenous businesses.
Facilitate improved access to finance by connecting Indigenous businesses with programs such as the Indigenous Business Australia’s (IBA) Indigenous Start-up Finance Package, and the Indigenous Entrepreneurs Capital Scheme.
Indigenous owned and operated businesses located in the Western Downs region can register their capabilities through the Indigenous Business Capability questionnaire, designed to connect these businesses with services that will assist in accessing new markets, expanding their capability and presence and to stay aware of project opportunities from within the region.
Businesses will be asked to provide their details and nominate their skills sets against a list of different capability items and services. To start the process, please register using the button below, complete your general business details and then begin the Indigenous Business Capability questionnaire.
